🧵 Learn Leathercraft & Create Something Beautiful

In this hands-on school holiday workshop, kids will learn how to make their very own Belt or Dog Collar from real Australian cowhide leather.

Children will get to choose their leather, punch holes, and hand-stitch their leather using traditional tools—building skills, confidence, and creativity along the way.

• All materials and tools provided

• Guided instruction by local leather artisan Aaron

• Use of different leather

• A finished belt or dog collar to take home and use

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Notes

• Aaron holds a current Working With Children Check: WWC1136710E

• Parents are encouraged to stay and learn along with their children

• Held in a safe, outdoor under-cover workshop setting

🕒 Workshop Timeline – 3-Hour Kids Leather Class

9:30 AM – 9:45 AM
Welcome & introduction to tools and materials

9:45 AM – 10:00 AM
Cutting and shaping leather pieces for the Belt or Dog Collar

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Punching holes and learning basic stitching techniques

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Break time – snacks, jump on trampoline and and play in the outdoor space

11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Personalising and finishing touches
