About Aaron (the teacher)

I am a self-taught leather worker and have been for the past 10 years though I started dabbling in it making bible covers, knifes sheaths and more before then. I have taught both group and private classes (you can see some of their work below).

As I am a self taught leather worker, I have a particular style that may be different to what you see on youtube or from other leather workers. I teach my style as it works for me but i always encourage learners and those interested to use what I teach as a base to create a style that suits them.

 Examples of Previous Students Work

The below shows a good range of previous students work. Some people pick it up asap even though they have never held a needle before while others struggle a bit more to get a consistent and even stitch. Many students try and rush through to get it finished quickly and their work shows that, while others take the time to to go through each step of the process properly and with care.

The main thing is that they have given it a go and have made something that is one of a kind and truly theirs.

Note: On some the wallets, there are dark patches because by wetting the leather you can stamp it with names and pictures better.
